Dark, moody walls flank towering windows that showcase the breathtaking beauty of Whitefish’s serene mountain landscape. To juxtapose the contemporary elements such as the glass fireplace and brown leather couch, interior designer Alissa Ochs opted to feature an organic-shaped coffee table made from an old, cured tree stump placed on a custom steel base.

Patio

Accessible via sliding doors from both the great room and kitchen, the spacious outdoor patio serves as a cozy gathering place where families can come together and keep warm in winter next to the striking burnt-orange fireplace and underneath a series of heaters installed in the ceiling. Then, when temperatures warm, guests might opt to keep the doors open to create a continuously flowing space from room to room.
