Guests are welcomed with comfort, privacy, and convenience when entering this colorful and inviting upper-level guest suite within a farmhouse in Waunakee, Wisconsin. The space, designed by KASA Interior Design, is positioned just off the main stairs, and is separated from the rest of the upper-level rooms, affording guests privacy during their stay.
The room itself boasts a vaulted ceiling, Schumacher wallpaper, and a custom velvet headboard—plus a walk-in closet for extended stays. The ensuite bathroom pairs timeless subway tile with patterned floors and features a free-standing soaking tub, double vanity, and luxury shower. Thoughtfully designed, it’s a charming space that invites guests to relax and linger. All this and more won this project first place in the Guest Suite category at the 2025 Midwest Design Awards.
