In 2025 Lennar marked its 20th consecutive year as the Twin Cities region’s top builder, according to a recent survey by Housing First Minnesota. This ranking is based on annual gross revenue as reported by respondents for for-sale housing.

Together, the Top 25 Builders accounted for $3.69 billion in gross revenue and delivered 6,512 housing units in 2025. This included 5,183 single-family homes and 1,390 townhomes or multifamily units. Lennar reported gross revenue of $1,054,392,394 for 1,644 single-family homes and 492 multifamily homes closed in the 2025 calendar year, for a total of 2,136 units.

“Our builders in the Twin Cities region are truly shaping the future of our communities,” says James Vagle, CEO of Housing First Minnesota, in a prepared statement. “Through their dedication to building safe, high-performing homes, they’re opening the door to homeownership for more Minnesotans.”

Lennar Division President, Jon Aune, reinforced the company’s dedication to housing accessibility—a long-held pillar of Lennar. “At Lennar, we strive on our mission of helping more Minnesotans live the American dream,” Aune says. “Our focus has been and continues to be on building great homes in neighborhoods throughout the state that are important to Minnesota families. We are proud of the fact that for the last 20 years, more Minnesota families put their trust in Lennar to help them make their homeownership dream become a reality.”
