The Home Furnishings Association (HFA) named Minneapolis-based Room & Board the 2026 HFA Retailer of the Year Award winner (50 employees and above) in April. The award is given to home furnishings businesses who exemplify innovation, leadership, and service within the industry, and is a top honor of HFA’s annual Pillar Awards, which shines a spotlight on outstanding achievement and recognizes those who inspire excellence and help drive the home furnishings industry forward.
Room & Board was nominated by its peers and evaluated by a panel of judges composed of HFA retailer members, past award winners, and industry manufacturers and service providers. HFA CEO Peter Theran presented the award to Bruce Champeau, CEO of Room & Board, in an awards celebration on April 14 at Room & Board’s Central Campus in Minneapolis.
