5 Home Offices That Inspire Productivity

Break out of your creative rut with home offices that are anything but boring

How and where we work has changed drastically over the last six years. According to a 2025 Gallup report, approximately 52% of U.S. work locations offer hybrid models and 26% are exclusively remote. Perhaps your day job falls into one of these categories, or maybe you’re craving a space to dedicate to passion projects outside of work—whatever your situation, dedicated workspaces at home are increasingly important.

But don’t let these spaces become an afterthought. Take a cue from the following home offices that are designed with their homeowners’ work needs and personalities in mind—the end results are spaces that inspire creativity and productivity.

KASA Interior Design transformed a formal living room in this Edina home into a spacious design studio. Doors were added to the foyer entry to ensure sound dampening and privacy, windows and integrated light fixtures were installed, a built-in window seat was created for more storage and extra workspace, and a custom worktable was designed as a large island for laying out materials and client presentations. A chandelier above adds visual interest while the overall palette of the room remains light and neutral.
