A custom double-sink vanity anchors the space with warmth, texture, and ample storage, while marble countertops, chevron tile, and unlacquered brass fixtures introduce subtle elegance. By blending natural materials and modern function, the design-build team created a spa-like haven the homeowners now retreat to for the ultimate escape after a long day.
Spacious Comfort

This nearly 250-square-foot Minnetonka bathroom from Design Build + combines architectural grandeur with inviting comfort. To enhance accessibility, the team reconfigured the water closet with a pocket door and added a curbless shower featuring dramatic porcelain slabs and a full-length linear drain. Birch and walnut details, such as slatted wall panels, a custom vanity, and warm woodwork, carry natural texture throughout.
Ultimate Retreat

When the homeowners embarked on this bathroom remodel with Edina’s Janelle Mattson Designs, ample vanity space, storage, and luxury amenities were top priorities. The bathroom was expanded into the former sitting room area, allowing for a spacious layout. Highlights include custom white oak cabinetry; an expansive, feature-packed shower system; natural stone walls; heated floors; and a dramatic floor-to-ceiling fireplace. It’s the ultimate space for relaxation.
Stonework and Serenity

Stone is a starring element in this new home in Central Minnesota from design-build team Redstone Interiors in Wayzata and St. Cloud’s Werschay Homes, and some of the most surprising applications are in the primary bathroom. Limestone in honey, taupe, and cream tones serves as a thoughtful backdrop on the walls and in the shower. Warm wood and neutral colors bring a feeling of calm and serenity into the space, creating a true retreat.
