We Made This Art Fair at Machine Shop
This weekend, 65 artists will share their wares in Northeast for We Made This, an art fair held in celebration of Women’s History Month. Two full floors of the building will have locally made artwork for sale. The event will also feature activities like a keychain making station, free, and live portrait sketching, $30-$40, and a cash bar for drinks and snacks. Cirque de Fleurs: A Vintage Carnival Floral Fantasy at Bachman’s
Beginning March 12, Bachman’s will host an extravagant flower show with a nostalgic vintage circus theme. Events and theatrical attractions spanning several weeks will take place during the show’s run, including fair food concessions, live music, and even a farmer’s market. Tia Keobounpheng “Gullat” at Weinstein Hammons
Opening later this month at Minneapolis-based Weinstein Hammons is the latest exhibition from Tia Keobounpheng, who uses vibrant thread to make intricate abstract geometric patterns on wood. (Fun fact: Keobounpheng holds a degree in architecture). Whether you’re looking to add to your collection or simply want to keep up with the local art scene, the up-and-coming artist’s show will be well worth a visit.
