Spring Flower Show
A much-needed breath of fresh air after January’s deep chills, the annual Spring Flower Show at the Arboretum returns with heartwarming blooms on display for six weeks. This year’s theme is “water,” with arrangements that take inspiration from lakes, rivers, wetlands, and their ecosystems. The flower show is exhibited at the Oswald Visitor Center and Snyder Building, and is included with general daily admission. Other attractions that coincide with the flower show include the February Art Fair (Feb. 7-8), a Fairy Garden Make-and-Take Workshop (Feb. 14, 21, and 28), and After Hours With the Flowers. West Metro Home Remodeling Fair

This approachable fair in Hopkins is an opportunity to have free, one-on-one consultations with industry professionals who want to help turn your home project into reality. Photos, sketches, and questions are encouraged! Dozens of exhibitors across industries and expertise will be in attendance, plus architects, remodelers, residential designers, and outdoors experts will be there to support your planning. Three seminar sessions will be held throughout the day covering topics like whether to update or remodel your kitchen, bathroom remodeling, landscapes and gardens, as well as planning tips for larger scale home projects. Minneapolis Home + Garden Show
For five days, the Minneapolis Home + Garden Show transforms the Minneapolis Convention Center into a pop-up shop showcasing trends and inspiration for home and garden projects. Wednesday through Sunday, exhibitions feature live painters, landscaping displays, plus cabin and deck inspiration. Professional and celebrity presenters are on the schedule, too, including HGTV personalities and expert speakers covering everything from classic home renovation to in-home saunas to lighting. Indoor Winter Art Crawl
The last weekend of February, Bachman’s on Lyndale hosts an art market where you can browse photography, paintings, pottery, sculpture, and more. It’s an opportunity to pick out one-of-a-kind wares for your home straight from the makers themselves.
