Nordic Village Winter Markets

Entering its fourth year, the rooftop of Four Seasons Minneapolis will transform into a winter wonderland. Designed in collaboration with MartinPatrick 3, Nordic Village has become a winter staple downtown, offering Nordic-inspired cabin dining experiences. Throughout the season, Nordic Village will also host Winter Markets, running through Dec. 21. The markets are open to the public and feature a variety of local artists, makers, and creators. Guests can also enjoy The Lodge cabin-style bar, and shop Nordic Village accessories. Markets run Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 21 and are weather dependent @ Four Seasons Minneapolis, fourseasons.com/Minneapolis

Arboretum AppleHouse Holiday Boutique

Starting in November, the Arboretum AppleHouse transforms into a festive holiday destination, complete with seasonal decor, one-of-a-kind gifts, and gourmet goodies available to shop. And, of course, Minnesota-grown apples and Arboretum-grown squash are available while supplies last—perfect for bringing local flavors to your holiday table. Additionally, while supplies last, the AppleHouse also offers meats and ice cream from the University of Minnesota College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences.  Arboretum members receive discounts on all AppleHouse purchases, but membership is not required to shop. Through Dec. 20, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. @ Arboretum AppleHouse, arb.umn.edu

Shop over 60 local artists and enjoy a Scandinavian holiday market during the American Swedish Institute’s Julmarknad market. Featuring live music, family-friendly crafts, festive foods, and, an iconic holiday exhibition at the institute’s Turnblad Mansion, it’s a magical Twin Cities experience. 47th Annual Holiday Bazaar

Back again this year at the historic Landmark Center in St. Paul, explore the work of more than 80 artisans at the annual Holiday Bazaar. Presented by nonprofit agency Minnesota Landmarks, this fan-favorite Twin Cities tradition presents handcrafted jewelry, decor, woodwork, paintings, wearable art, handmade lotions and soaps, and more. Festive treats and music add to the holiday ambience. $5 admission—cash or check only.
