Powderhorn Art Fair

For 34 years, the Powderhorn Art Fair has spotlighted local and regional artists across a variety of disciplines—and this year is no exception. With more than 200 artists, 20-plus food trucks, and plenty more to explore, this iconic Minneapolis event celebrates the intersection of art and community. SoMi Art Fair

Art is in full bloom at the SoMi Art Fair at Bachman’s. Enjoy live music, local food trucks, and work from over 250 juried artists, plus botanical art demonstrations and hands-on activities for the little ones. Verdant Remedies: Unearthing Hmong Art and Nature

This powerful exhibition at Minnesota Landscape Arboretum highlights work from 12 Hmong artists exploring themes of nature, land, and home. Co-curated by artist and designer Christina Vang and Aboretum art curators Tina Chimuzu and Wendy DePaolis, the show includes paintings, ceramics, and mixed media. Tickets required. Downtown Minneapolis Street Art Festival

Returning for its seventh year, the Downtown Minneapolis Street Art Festival transforms Nicollet Mall into a hub of creativity. Featuring murals, chalk and spray art, performances, and crafts, it’s the perfect place to appreciate art in its many forms. Also returning this year is the Jackalope indie artisan fair, which boasts more than 100 local vendors in clothing, home decor, art, and more. Minnesota State Fair

The Great Minnesota Get-Together is back this month with new foods, shopping experiences, and special events. For home and design inspiration, make sure to stop by the Grandstand, Home Improvement Building, or Merchandise Mart.
