Midwest Design

Recognizing the region’s most inspiring spaces and the creative minds behind them, the Midwest Design Awards is the only program of its kind in Minnesota—celebrating standout work in architecture, remodeling, interior design, landscaping, and more in both residential and commercial scopes.

An esteemed panel of national judges evaluates each submission with a focus on design integrity, attention to detail, craftsmanship, and more. Categories are thoughtfully curated and continually refined to reflect the evolving design landscape. Within each, three semifinalists are named—one of whom takes top honors. Every submission is also considered for Best in Show, awarded to the project earning the highest score across all categories.

Winners are showcased in Midwest Design magazine, with the Best in Show winner receiving dedicated feature coverage. Honorees also gain national exposure through Florida Design, our sister publication.
