Interior design firm Vivid Home has opened its second retail location in the Galleria in Edina. A grand opening will be held this Thursday, March 5 from 4:30-8:30 p.m., featuring light, chef-made bites and a giveaway.
Dedicated to interior designer-selected housewares, rare and boutique items make up Vivid Home’s core offerings, from barware to visual art to bed and bath linens. Exclusive, one-of-a-kind items are in the mix, too—including international product lines that aren’t available anywhere else in the U.S.
“Most of our products are from all over the world, that we’ve traveled all over the world to find,” owner and interior designer Danielle Loven explains. For instance, Vivid Home is the only shop in the country that stocks coveted scented candles from Madrid-based perfumer, Ladenac.

Vivid Home’s penchant for limited and independent pieces doesn’t stop there. An inventory of furniture for every room and a new line of rugs, all by the firm’s in-house brand, are on the floor and ready to bring home day-of (or for next day delivery). A “swatch zone” is set up for custom orders as well, including made-to-order upholstered furniture, as well as custom bedding orders.
“The custom line is deep—bar stools, beds, couches, coffee tables, nightstands, and tables—everything you can think of,” Loven says. She is especially proud of the level of intention behind their custom options, which make Vivid Home’s offerings stand out amongst other luxury home furnishing retailers.
Its in-house line is all made from hardwood, not particle board, and the options for personalization are seemingly endless. You can choose the firmness of filling for your seating, the wood your furniture is constructed from, and select from materials and colors from over 250 choices of fabric. The cherry on top? All custom orders are fulfilled in four to six weeks, maximum.
