Your master bedroom and bath should be a personal retreat, a comfortable place to unwind and relax. The original master bedroom and bath in this Hutchinson home was in need of a major update to make it become the true master suite the homeowners were envisioning. With its cramped floor plan, inadequate storage, and outdated fixtures, the original space was neither functional nor welcoming. Designers Tracy Hains and Calie Pierce of Che Bella Interiors listened carefully and developed a comprehensive design plan for the new suite that included taking down walls, creating layers of lighting, and adding unique elements with a boutique hotel inspiration. “The clients completely trusted us to transform these rooms into the spaces they had always dreamed of having,” says Tracy Hains, owner of Che Bella Interiors. The new space is the perfect balance of personality and function, with lots of custom built-in storage and detailed accents like luxurious wallpaper and custom bedding. The designers were also attentive to incorporating aging in place elements into the design to ensure that the space would remain functional for the homeowners in the years to come. The result is a true master suite that is the perfect escape for a relaxing getaway. “This was a dramatic transformation and we really enjoyed working with the homeowners,” says Tracy. “It was a truly rewarding project.”
